Pasture-raised chicken hearts do a body good. It’s a fact. Nutritionists call them superfood sources of vitamins and minerals like omega-3s. Of course the health of those hearts and the benefit to you directly correlate to the source. Our chicken hearts come from healthy, pastured chickens. Slightly sweet to the taste, you can add chicken hearts to soups and stews, or sauté them with wine; or just skewer and grill like they do in Brazil.
All-Natural Young Pasture-Raised Chicken
• Day-old chicks are hand-raised in our "brooder bus" until 3 weeks old, then enjoy life out on pasture in specially built shelters. Shelters are moved at least twice a day to fresh pasture.
• Chickens are fed locally-milled non-GMO feed and organic kitchen scraps. They also forage pasture grasses and bugs to their heart's content.
